Saladmaster Celebrate their Stars at the Direct Selling Association Annual Awards

In March 2022, the UK Saladmaster team attended the UK’s Direct Selling Association annual Direct Selling Awards and we’re proud to have two of Saladmaster’s Independent Authorised Dealers selected as nominees / winners.

Leeds based mother and daughter team, Malou and Gayle Cortez were awarded a ‘Star of the Year’ accolade that is awarded to an individual nominated by the company they work with in recognition for their exceptional contribution.

Saladmaster also nominated ‘Partnership of the Year’ finalists, Bruce and Rose Angchangco from Elite HGR Health Connections.

Malou and Gayle Cortez – Saladmaster Stars of Direct Selling

Malou and Gayle have been consistent since opening their Saladmaster Dealership in 2016, however, in 2021, they made the decision to make their business even more successful. They set their goal, shared their mission with their team and showed a strong sales performance, demonstrating their consistency and determination.

They also supported the development of their own team, with two of their top sales people being ready to step up to become authorised dealers themselves in 2022.

Bruce and Rose Angchangco – Finalists in the Partnership of the Year Category

Bruce and Rose have continued to be inspirational within the Saladmaster Family, having been promoted to Senior Dealer in 2019, they achieved Master Dealer (Saladmaster’s highest recognition) in 2020 and again in 2021, demonstrating that they have true drive and determination to succeed as well as living the Saladmaster core values. They consistently deliver sales weekly and are one of the top performing Dealerships across the UK against key metrics.

They run their Dealership together and continually deliver sales, grow their business and develop their team and show true leadership to other Saladmaster Dealers across the UK.

Mark Jones, Senior Vice President commented

” We are very proud to have both Malou and Gayle, and Bruce and Rose in the Saladmaster Family, here in the UK. The consistency, determination and drive they both have in their businesses is proof that they are true examples of how to achieve great success, by setting goals and consistently delivering activities to achieve it.”

The Direct Selling Industry

Direct selling is a £1 billion retail channel in the UK and the latest market data suggests that the sector is enjoying a renaissance: In 2021, the latest Direct Selling Association data reported an average 45% year-on-year increase in retail sales across its membership – one of the strongest annual growth periods on record since the 1970s. Over 631,000 people in the UK now work in direct selling.
