Encouraging Kids to Enjoy Cooking with Saladmaster

With the summer holidays upon us it can be tricky thinking of activities to keep the kids entertained.

Cooking is a perfect activity that also helps children learn and develop new skills that will stay with them.  Whether you are baking, cooking breakfast or making dinner, encouraging them to get involved and teaching them how to do it can be a lot of fun and a great way to spend time with your kids this summer.

Getting them involved in the kitchen and with the cooking can help encourage their creativity, they can use their imagination to explore new flavours, textures and cooking methods. It can also be a great way to help fussy eaters try new foods. When kids are involved in preparing food they are more likely to try new foods such as fruit and vegetables.

Cooking with Saladmaster makes it really easy to get children involved in the kitchen, it’s easy to use and as you do not need to add butter or oil it promotes a healthier way to cook at a young age.

Spending time in the kitchen with your kids can also encourage other activities such as the importance of cleaning your equipment and surfaces properly, designing and creating a menu or getting creative with laying the table.
