3 Ways to Cook Flavorful Meals That are Vegetarian, Low Carb or Gluten Free

When you’re trying to eat healthy, sometimes you are afraid that you'll miss having flavor in your life. Fear not, because now with cauliflower rice, you can have the best of both worlds! Here’s a Saladmaster guide to healthy cooking with cauliflower rice.

What’s cauliflower rice?

Cauliflower rice is not actually rice at all. It involves cauliflower that is made with a food processor and shredded or processed into fine pieces so that it resembles rice, otherwise known as “ricing cauliflower.” Since cauliflower rice cooks more quickly than rice, you can have a meal ready within 10-15 minutes by using the Saladmaster food processor and any Saladmaster skillet, along with minimal or zero fats, oils, or water.

What does cauliflower rice taste like?

Cauliflower is quite versatile, because like rice it absorbs and compliments the flavors of sauces, curries, gravies and seasonings of the foods paired with it. 1. Try different herbs to make Cauliflower Rice Pilaf. A pilaf is a seasoned dish made with rice which often has bits of vegetables, herbs and seasonings added to it. 2. Make gluten free Cauliflower Rice with your choice of protein. This easy cauliflower rice recipe is an excellent way to enjoy healthy fried rice, made easy in the Saladmaster wok.
