A seasoned global marketing and sales executive, Rusty Wright has built a broad international experience helping to create brand leadership in both mass and prestige consumer packaged goods. Over the past twenty-five years, Rusty has worked for some of the world’s leading multinationals including Unilever, Avon, Coty and, Mary Kay where he established a successful track record in building and implementing strategies of brand and business development in both mature and developing markets.
He has help launch new products and manage portfolios for global designer, lifestyle and celebrity brands including Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Nautica, Kenneth Cole, Chloe, Davidoff and Jennifer Lopez to name a few. Rusty brings a thorough understanding of the global markets and the international consumer having lived and worked on three continents. His expertise includes managing multicultural businesses and teams in North America, Europe and Asia covering retail, direct selling, and distributor management.
Rusty’s strong analytical skills and extensive consumer research experience have helped in addressing consumer and trade customer needs, and developing new business models. He also maintains a strong global product development knowledge with more 20 years of concept, package and brand development experience. Rusty’s extensive work within the direct-selling channel have given him a deep appreciation for the entrepreneurial spirit of the independent sale force.
